Decoding Dyslexia Maryland
Is your child struggling to read? Is your child falling further and further behind in reading? Is your child dyslexic?
Decoding Dyslexia Maryland is a parent-led, grassroots movement driven by Maryland families concerned about reading instruction and interventions for all students, including those with dyslexia, in Maryland Public Schools.
Our Montgomery County chapter meets regularly to share information, support each other, and advocate for change.
Our next meeting is December 6th, 7-9 pm, at the Siena School (1300 Forest Glen Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20901).
This meeting, we’ll provide updates on the MCPS search for a new ELA curriculum, focus on creating individual testimony to use when advocating for change with the MCPS BOE and Montgomery County Council, and create space for parents to support parents.
