Fall Fling This Saturday 10/27
The 15th Annual Fall Fling Carvinal and Silent Auction needs your help to be a success. The Fall Fling will be held on Saturday October 27th from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Michael & Son Sportsplex at Rockville.
We are in desperate need of full 2L Soda Bottles for our Soda Bottle Ring Toss Game. These can be sent to school now, or you can bring to the Fall Fling. We also are in desperate need of cakes for our Cake Walk. Prepackaged cakes such as Little Debbie can be sent to school now. Store bought or homemade cakes can be sent to school on October 26 or you can bring it to the Fling.
Families can help us offset the cost of our carnival by sponsoring activities. All family sponsors will have their name advertised. Your donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE! Check which activities you want to sponsor on this SignUpGenius and submit payment on our website. Please note that you’re sponsoring Fall Fling items when you submit your payment.
If you can help organize, please volunteer on this SignUpGenius.
We also need volunteers to set up , clean up, and run the activities during the Fall Fling. Sign up on this SignUpGenius if you can help. SSL hours are available.
Please share this flyer on social media or other online outlets. The more people in attendance, the more money the PTA makes to support the children and school. We are asking each Maryvale family to please invite 3 non-Maryvale families to our Fall Fling.
Keep up to date with the Fall Fling on our website.
Cougar Cash Fundraiser Information
Instead of engaging in fundraising that only shares a percentage of the proceeds, we’ve opted for a direct-donation process as our primary fundraising tool… your no frills contribution will go 100% towards the kids, staff, and their programs. It’s as simple as that! Please contribute and be a part of our success! Your donation helps the PTA cover the cost of programs at Maryvale that are not paid for by the state or district. Please see this letter for details and instructions on how to donate.
Box Tops Contest Through 11/1
A new year has begun, and so has a new Box Tops contest. You should have received the form this week in your child’s folder, but even if you don’t, you can always put Box Tops in a plastic bag or an envelope. Please include your child’s grade – the grades with the highest numbers submitted by November 1st will get a sweet treat!
Please leave your box tops here:
Wipes for Art Class Needed
