Science Fair

The Science Fair is a fun, exciting event where students get a chance to display the results of their own science project! It will be held Thursday, April 12th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

To sign up, submit the online form or return the print form to your child’s teacher.

Wood MS PTA Seeking Candidates

Wood PTA is seeking candidates for the 2018-2019 Executive Committee. This flyer lists the positions and current officers. The PTA is specifically targeting parents of rising 6th graders who might be interested.

Montgomery County Chapter of Decoding Dyslexia

Do you have a struggling reader who is just not making progress? Is your child dyslexic? Do you want to learn more about what is happening within MCPS and how parents/teachers are trying to make change?

6:45-7:30 This is the time to discuss individual students, learn from other parents and advocates, ask questions about the IEP process etc.

7:30-8:30: Updates at state and county levels.
MDSE’s Technical Assistance Bulletin on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: Learn how we can use this to advocate to dyslexic students.

Please come to show your support and the importance of screening for dyslexia and appropriate intervention.
Bring family, friends to show support.
Make signs, wear red.
