Learning that their child has autism can be an overwhelming experience for many parents. In addition to understanding what the autism spectrum is, parents struggle to figure out what, if any, therapies may improve their child’s quality of life. This speaker meeting will give you an overview of some of the most common therapies that benefit autistic children.
This meeting is appropriate for families whose child, regardless of age, has just been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder as well as parents who are looking for new ideas. Some of the information presented will also be helpful to parents of children with ADHD.
