Helping Friends and Family Understand Children on the Autism Spectrum, Sunday, Sept. 18

Do members of your extended family, maybe a grandparent, aunt, or uncle, wish they knew more about the strengths and challenges of autism spectrum disorder? Do your friends and neighbors wish they knew how they could support your family and your autistic child?

Partnership for Extraordinary Minds (xMinds) is happy to share information about autism and answer these questions and more on Sunday, September 18 from 2 to 4 PM. xMinds will be hosting this event for friends, families, and community members who want to learn more about the full range of Autism Spectrum Disorders and how to support the autism families in their lives.

Please join us for enlightening talks by Monica Adler Werner, Director of the Model Asperger Program at the Ivymount School and Eve Megargel, mom and advocate for autistic individuals with limited verbal abilities and author of Learning to Kiss.
