Upcoming Wood MS Events In mid-August there will be optional orientation sessions for incoming 6th grade students at Wood Middle School. A registration form for these sessions is on the Wood website and a printed flyer may also be coming.

School Construction Updates
Maryvale Elementary School is curently being renovated and expanded to colocate the Carl Sandburg Learning Center.
Due to the record amount of rainfall in our area in recent months, the completion date has been delayed from mid-scbool year 2019-2020. Maryvale Administration will work with construction and other central office staff to determine the best move-in schedule, later in the spring or summer of 2020.
Our region has seen some of the most frequent and persistent flooding and rain conditions observed in many years, with nearly 80 inches of total rainfall in the last year. Our construction team has exhausted all available options to meet project timetables, with multiple schedule modifications and other adjustments.
